The service here is not great and neither is the food. The drinks however are decent. I've had the churrasco which was over cooked once and the second time was cooked rare on one side and well on another. Also tried the platano sandwich which is ok but very small. It is sort of like a patacon but a lot drier. The empanadas are probably my favorite thing I have tried. The sangria is also good. The outdoor dining is decent but loud because of the surrounding businesses. My advise if you want to try this place go during off peak hours.

Last night: - Birthday boy spends $600 on bottle service and two tables - Dozens of friends drop even more on numerous rounds of drinks - 45 min. later, birthday boy accidentally bumps into lounge owner on the crowded walkway from the bar to the smoking area - Power tripping lounge owner throws a bitch fit and kicks birthday boy out - Everyone in our party is confused about whether or not he is let back in and half leave the tables - Tables are IMMEDIATELY cleared and we are not allowed to return - Bouncers tell us the entire party (25+) must leave - except the girls (wtf?!...why?) There was also an incident where someone in our party had an outside bottle of alcohol - which of course is a no-no - but I felt like that person dealt with the staff calmly and respectfully. The staff, however, chose to overreact and create a lot of drama over this. Bubble Lounge did not care about customer service and made several misguided assumptions about us. The managers, bouncers, and servers seemed very disorganized and judgmental. We did not feel welcome and were upset about the service and blatantly disrespectful manner of the staff. OVERALL - So we weren't completely innocent, but we spent a lot of money to be treated like trash.

I was taken here by a friend of mine that is a local. It was hyped up greatly, and not only did it not live up to the hype, I couldn't wait to get out of there! I've been to a lot of bars and clubs in NYC, Chicago, LA, SF, etc. Usually what makes for a good time is a crowd and a dance floor (cheap drinks are always nice, as well). But in this case, you walk in and you're essentially on the dance floor, and it's so crowded you can barely make it to the bar. People are shimmying and shaking, but very little actual dancing goes on. Either because there is no room or people don't know how to dance to hip hop. I don't really care. It was hard to get a drink and the service was not very fast. The crowd was somewhat less self-important than the average NYC nightclub, which to locals probably seems like an oasis, but to people who have been around is still very pretentious. The music was fine, nothing very inspired. People who think this is a good bar need to get off the island more.
