by KariGirl G. on The Compound offers a great club experience. When you walk in, it's set up like a outside club with cabana like enclaves. It's sorta like being at the pool with no pool in South Beach in Miami. There's out door bars as well. Then you go into a dark room that has a glass enclosed VIP area. After that, you are outside in like a annex, the bathrooms are there. They could use more stalls, and provide free paper towels, but they leave that to the hustler bathroom lady. The next section is the most fun, and where the celebs typically hang out. There is a VIP section among the perimeter. The bartenders are a little snotty. They need a bottle list, because it puts you in a awkward situation to have the ask the availability and price of each bottle. I know I know if you have to ask you probable can't afford it, but I prefer to know how much I'm paying before I order. Other than that, the Compound offers a typical urban ATL club experience. I would go again.

We stopped here while sightseeing Harvard Yard giving my husband a chance to relive his college days of scorpion bowl races with friends! The pupu platter was almost completely fried - with the largest donut shrimp I've ever seen. All pretty good- but not quite up to the legend of the "Bowl"!
by Shizue Ancalade on 330 Ritch is a good place if you look at it from the following angles: DJs/Music: Top quality DJ's that have silky smooth transition skills that made even the mash ups sound intentional from the original artist. Plus, DJ Z is HOT. For a DJ, that is. Which means, in real life, she's normal until you hear her spin. Kind of like what Lindsay Lohan must see in her GF. Drinks: Bartenders are quick and attentive for such a high volume crowd. Although the prices are expensive, it's nominal for such a place. They are good with the mixing, too, and my mixed drink didn't taste like cheap vodka from a plastic jug. Dancing: Interior dance floors are absolutely huge. If you were so inclined, you could probably pull off Chun Li's flying spinning feet without hitting anybody. But the bottom line is, 330 Ritch screams "I'm SINGLE, HAVENT HAD SEX IN AGES, AND NEED A GIRLFRIEND/BOYFRIEND." I guess that's why I was here. DOH.
