.... this place gets an overall 3 from me and the other reviewers. there is no secret or anything hidden about this place. in short. OVERPRICED! our group spent $5,000 that night. Small, not very roomy. Strict for some people. I know I wouldn't be going here again. I would think twice if I were you if you want to go to Drais. Over hyped.

Scorpion bowls?! Dirty bar?! ESPN on all flat-screen TVs?! Loud frat-house music?! This second-story bar/lounge/club above your standard cheap Chinese place just screams collegiate debauchery!

A birthday party brought me to Slide for the first time a little while back. First and foremost, this bar had a VERY high talent level. It was packed to the gills with cleve baring short skirted girls of all shapes and sizes. Prior to Forever 21, this place had the highest talent level I have seen in the bay area. Where Forever 21 has more talent and a superb ratio, it is socially awkward to get hammered and grind on people there. In this regard, Slide wins. The club is basically a luxury upscale establishment with all the bells and whistles. Expect the door man to be a douche about guys getting in. We were supposed to all be on the list, only to get there to discover that we weren't. The best solution was for the 15 of us to chip in for a table and a couple of bottles. That got us promptly in the door, and got a solid buzz going for 40 bucks a pop. This places likes to say it is a speak easy, but in my travels I will say that it is a sad excuse for one. The "Spy Room" in Milwaukee WI and "The Back Room" in Manhattan are the real deal. Slide is not. I won't go into the details, but understand that slide is just a really nice club that happens to have a wooden slide and is not true to a real speak easy experience. Haiku ! Is this my Bday ? The Talent is jaw dropping Opps! dress readjust Talent Level ? As mentioned before, the talent level here is insanely high,  and the ratio is controlled at the door. Do you remember watching animal planet as a kid ? Remember how they explained that zebras all have the same pattern to confuse predators ? They said that cheetahs were unable to distinguish one target from the next and would become confused and disorientated. That is basically the effect that slide had I me. There were so many glorious hotties, that I literally became unable to focus or form a plan of attack. Luckily, the ladies of San Francisco are a special sort and will glad take control of the situation. Talent Level
