Los Angeles is huge. There are bars and clubs all over the place, all filled with people drinking, laughing, moping, making out, brooding, and passing out. So what really makes a place enjoyable is the company. Still, it's nice to enjoy that company in a place that's different and not just the same old "let's get a drink and stand around shouting jokes at each other over loud music." Bordello Bar is that place. Don't get me wrong, there's still a lot of people and really loud music, but with the bordello decor and burlesque performers taking the stage for creative sets every 20-30 minutes, this place delivers that needed change-of-pace. All in all, I'm not really into the bar and club scene, but when I go out, it's places like Bordello Bar that help make it memorable.

A friend invited me here for a rateclubs Elite Members event (I heart Lily N.!...she introduced me to the world of http://rateclubs.com). The event was fun, but I'm glad it was free because I'm not so sure I would actually pay to go this place. The venue was huge -- I stood at the upper level the whole time, which included a bar and snack area, a dance floor, and a game area. It's kind of funny how I went to a bowling alley and didn't even see not one bowling lane, bowling shoe, or bowling ball (I'm telling you, the place is huge!)

Top Flr is a winner in my book. I've been 3 times now, and they never disappoint! The food is great and interesting. The service is good too, not the best in the whole city, but I never leave there annoyed. I also LOVE the hip vibe. This review isn't for a specific meal; I just wanted to give one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta props. I would never turn down a chance to go back!
