by Andrew A. on Once you get over the Buddhist gimmickry and sit down, you may realize the food is very good. I found the place to be pretty noisy after a long day, yet some sake-based cocktail turned the volume down for me. I wish I remember what it was.
by maria d. on I had three straight meals of BBQ in a veritable Texas 2 day BBQ orgy. Salt Lick's sauce is the one. Not too sweet like Rudy's, not too boring like Ironworks. This is it. The brisket was also my favorite. The bread they put the sandwiches is not that wimpy wonder bread the other places use, it's some fluffy brioche type shit and the potato salad was vinegary rather than mayo based, so it went well with the vinegary sauce. I don't get the people that are complaining. You're in an airport. You're next to a Bookpeople (the best indy book store ever) location. You've just been in wonderful Austin. You're not eating TGI Friday's to go. Appreciate how good you have it.
