by Vadim B. on Yes, it is expensive, but the food is great. I thought the service was great as well. We had a sizable party and everyone was thrilled with their meals. Specialty drinks aren't that great, so stick with your regular favorites. Staff is nice, but be courteous enough to put a smile on our face as well, and you will see mutual respectful attitude.
by aimee c. on I attended my very first poetry slam last night at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and left so happy! The place was packed with people of all ages and backgrounds, the poems were fantastic, and the energy in the house was amazing!! I went to see a friend of a friend perform (Samantha Thornhill) and was really blown away by her. Everyone should go, especially if you've never been to a poetry slam before. I will most def be back here again soon :)
