Love this place. I typically don't get here until 3 or 4 but it is a great place to wrap up the night. The DJs there spin some really good music and everyone is up dancing. Maybe I'm cheesy, but they do this smoke thing that completely engulfs the dance floor and I love it. Door can be tough but the interior is awesome.

C*nt. *ss. B*tch. These were just a few of the names I was called for no apparent reason by THE STAFF who work the door outside as well as some of their disgusting, slovenly, underage, rude, self-entitled patrons while I waited in line. The male bouncer violently shoved girls who were too close to the rope for his liking. Many actually fell. I actually got injured while I stood there patiently waiting, mind my own business. There was no apology. As we were getting ID'ed finally, another bouncer gave my ID back to the wrong person. Uh, hello!? Then, as I tried to retrieve it, the bouncer shouted, "WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU. MOVE!" and shoved me through the ropes. Once inside, I couldn't believe after all that hell, the club sucked. It was crowded way past capacity, the music sucked, it was dirty, and it was full of underage kids - teenagers. The main floor was so crowded I lost my whole drink. The guys here, much like the male staff, were really disrespectful and unpleasant. The decor was....WTF. Wanna know why it's called "Greenhouse"? Because they stapled fake plastic ivy all over the walls. That's it. There ya go. Like a greenhouse. Get it? Wow.... This was one of those nights were you end up calling your ex or  a guy friend who is cute but "too nice" because you need a big bear hug and an ice pack.

This rating is only for the service my friends and I received AT THE DOOR of the club. We did not get to enter the club. Here is how it all went down... Before going to Miami, my friend and I did our research of the clubs in South Beach. I checked rateclubs and other websites for suggestions. I heard SET was a very cool club so I called for table reservations. We were going deep with 12 people so instead of trying to get into the club by lining up, we decided to make reservations. Patrik Slettman, the director of VIP services was my contact. We exchanged phone calls and text messages to finalize the details of the night. I specifically asked him about dress codes and cost for 12 people. There were no issues then. For 12 people, it would be a minimum of $1000 (about 4 bottles) which included cover charges and table service. He suggested we get there by midnight and even told me to give him a text before we get there so that he can escort us in. On the night of, we all walked a couple of blocks to the club. The exterior of the club was so drab. There were no lighting or displays that indicated it was a nightclub. You could only tell that it's a club because of a few people standing outside behind a red rope surrounding the entrance. And also some bouncers outside trying to look tough and all-mighty. Barf. I stepped up behind the red rope and tried to get the attention of the bouncers who obviously saw us walk up. I told the guy that I was looking for Patrik. I don't know why he looked around as if he was there and turned back to me that he was in the back, he will be out soon. Then he turned away. So we waited and I tried to call Patrik on his cell phone. Then I see a guy come out and wanted to get his attention but he went to a couple of guys first...after he was done with them, I told him who I was and he said hey nice to meet you. He confirmed again that it was $1000 for us and I agreed. He said he'll be right back and went away for a bit. When he returned, he said to me that we can't get in because the guys that I was with were wearing sneakers. Actually he said that "they" pointing towards the door that we couldn't get in because of the sneakers. At first, I'm thinking they were dress like they were going clubbing...button up shirt, nice jeans and trendy shoes. So what can we do? I initially thought it was just one of my guy friends but he said that my other guy friends were in sneakers too. Bottom line was that we weren't getting in. BULL F-CKING SHIT! There were other people there in a way dressed down versions of my friends and were still not turned away. We knew that it wasn't because of how they were dressed. Two theories: one because they sold our table to another group who was willing to pay more or second because we were all Asians. I know, I hate to think that way but honestly, we were all dressed up and should have no problems AT ALL. If this was Vegas, we would have no problems at all. This is SO NOT VEGAS!!! We walked by the next day (because we were near Lincoln Road again) and saw guys in sneakers and t-shirts getting into the club. A girl was even in FLIP FLOPS! The night we wanted to go and this night, there were no long lines. I am very disappointed and upset by how my friends and I were treated by Patrik and the wannabe Vegas bouncers. We used the $1000 we were going to spend at SET at another venue that accepted our money without discrimination.
