by Meryl H. on A friend of a friend was having a birthday party here on a Bootie night. I had heard a lot of good things about Bootie, but tried not to have any expectations. First of all, the cover was $10! The place had 2 levels and an open dance floor in the middle...kinda warehouse-y looking. The crowd looked super young, too. There was also a band that played for a good portion of the time we were there, and while they had talent I'm almost never a fan of the bands that play at bars/clubs. The mashups were okay. The drinks were a bit on the expensive side in my opinion. I think this place could be a lot of fun if you're with the right people. Just sayin.
by Ella Mae B. on We went there on a thrusday night for someone's birthday. Pulled up front and valet was just $10. Got inside & it really is just one big box! Most of the people were just lounging around and the dance floor wasn't too packed. I wasn't sure if you were allowed to smoke inside but people did (cigarettes and weed). Yuck. I didn't want to bother buying drinks because the crowd was just awkward. IDK I usually enjoy myself wherever I am but not tonight. Maybe next time?
