Outrageously gimmicky, douchebag-pandering look and feel that would've worked in 2004 for eight weeks until the next trend hit. Overprocessed, brittle blondes and condo-dwelling, leased-BMW-drivers in pleated chinos abound. Food is relatively tasty stuff when it isn't disgusting: Inconsistency Reigns. There's a full bar to accompany your mini-burgers. Shame the bartenders are mainly bimbos and dudes I'd expect to see serving beer at ESPN Zone with more expensive haircuts. Uh, a Negroni has three ingredients, sweetheart. Tuna Tartare burger 2.5* Flip was overcooked 2* Po Boy tasted like canned shrimp with MSG 1* Steak Tartare was overpowered by Liquid Smoke 1* Wagyu was delish, but $14 was ridiculous 2* rBQ would be better without the Liquid Smoke 2* Ossobucco Burger could've dropped the "patty" and stuck with all the shank which was nice - 3.5* The milkshake gimmick was too much for me to even consider. It simply screams douchebag. Won't be back.

Loved the ambience - I think partly b/c it reminded me of my favorite store, Anthropologie. The fixtures, colors, wall textures, even the centerpiece with the pinecone in sea salt. But more important than ambience, I enjoyed the food. Highly recommend Parish for brunch - great menu selection, delicious food, reasonable prices ($9-14), & generous portions. Which translates to: "I'm coming back" :) Oh and loved the complimentary beignets! But a great menu means harder choices. I couldn't decide between a few of the brunch selections or the curried egg salad sandwich. Thanks to my dining partner Emily R, I got to ask the executive chef myself - he said the egg salad sandwich would be "life changing." Ok, high expectations now and while the sandwich wasn't necessarily life changing, it might be harder to enjoy a "regular" egg salad sandwich. The sandwich had amazing flavor, slightly sweet - with curried egg salad, golden raisins, arugula, cucumbers, & tomato on griddled sourdough, with a side of "half sour" pickles (YUM) and hash browns. I loved that my dish tasted light but for some reason I could only eat 1/2 - might have something to do with eating a bite of Emily's "Dixie Breakfast Burger" ... I don't even want to know the # calories for that burger - it was ground top round & pork shoulder, bacon, fried egg, fried green tomato, lettuce, pimento cheese, & crystal mayo on Texas toast ... a little salty but pure deliciousness :) The one bite alone probably set my already high cholesterol level a few points up. I don't think I'd ever order the burger but I'd probably secretly hope that someone at my table did so I could have just a bite :) I also took a bite of the grits - whoa, definitely liked these better than the hash browns. Very creamy & yummy :) Finished the meal with their "Cheddar Apple Crisp" - the perfect winter dessert. Couldn't really taste the cheddar streusel but didn't matter, the apples, the crisp, & the ice cream were yummy. Overall, great visit and definitely coming back for dinner :)
