by Shea D. on Per the rateclubs norm if you read the reviews of this place, it seems to be fine if you're here as part of pre-paid group or party, and not at all fine if you're here by yourself. I was part of the former group, and I will say that the food was quite awesome and tasty, and the drinks seem fine. I have no idea how much any of this cost, but it tasted great (especially since I wasn't paying for it). The service started out great, but did kind of fizzle a bit as the night wore on. That could very well have been an influx of business though since I was more pre-occupied with bowling. Speaking of bowling, if you're looking for a good place to socialize, drink, and maybe eat, then this may be a good spot for you. It's flashy, has all the neon lights and things, and the atmosphere to schmooze to your heart's desire (as long as you can afford it). If you intend on bowling though? This may not be the best place since the emphasis is definitely not on the game. For example: this is the first bowling alley I've been to that did not have a rack of different weight bowling balls that you could choose from. Instead, there were several different weights (often duplicated) that are haphazardly placed on your respective lane, and if your weight's not there? Too bad, so sad. Not to mention the William Golding "Lord of the Flies"-esque manner in which you try and thieve different weights from other peoples' lanes. I, no joke, witnessed a girl from the lane next to us jump in front of one of our bowlers and try to grab a ball from our lane. Once she was spotted by, oh, ALL of us, she retreated and tried to explain what she was doing. She was promptly dealt the adequate amount of mob justice. I had a fun time here. But it was on someone else's dime, so that's a given. If you'd like to read something entertaining, check out their "dress code" and then play the "which racial/ethnic demographic is this particular code targeted against?" Chances are, you'll only need one guess. :-/
by Jane S. on Drinks are reasonably priced, and if you're willing to relive beer pong games of yore, this place is perfect. It's like one long college party...in a good way.
