A definite stop when in Atlanta! It doesn't help your cholesterol and you'll have to work it off but the fried chicken and their famous fried green tomatoes is what's kept me coming back to this place when I'm traveling this side of town. Their fried okra is also a must. Their wine selection is quite decent and the wait staff very pleasant and hospitable for out-of-towners regardless of how big your party is. A popular restaurant among visitors and natives, make reservations in advance or the wait could be brutal.

I have a huge crush on Bobby Flay and def would bone him if I could, but BBP was pretty mediocre. Sorry!!!!!!!!! I found the sauces heavy-handed and the bun unremarkable. The meat was delicious, but too many ingreds? I had the Dallas Burger. But I guess I like LA hamburgers better.... they tend to have more upscale ingredients that are a bit more texturally variable and flavor-ally subtle. awk!

Just went here for the first time tonight with 2 girlfriends. It's a small bar, pretty simple, with one pool table. No darts, which is a bummer, but it's just too small for darts. Our bartender, Karen, was really nice. We got to talking with her and she was very friendly. Checked my ID but no scanning device like everyone is complaining about in their reviews. Anyway, my friend was upset about some unrelated-to-drinking stuff and disappeared for a while, and Karen was very sweet and concerned about her. We didn't stay long, it was a one drink night. But I'm sure I'll be back again when I want a place to sit and talk and drink with friends, without having to scream to be heard or having to worry about every guy in the place hitting on me. Grandma's seems good for that kind of relaxed hang-out time with friends.
