There's nothing better than dancing to live music and especially with Salsa, you can't go wrong! I am a gal who loves being spun around the dance floor. Friday night happy hour and free cover before 7pm for ladies was a great way to get in some $5 Sangrias to get the body all warmed up before they start a little lesson for beginners. It was cute....there weren't enough guys so I participated as one during the lesson. ^_^ I had tons of fun dancing with all the ladies as we alternated partners. I really wish more men could see the potential of salsa....it really is a simple dance and one can learn it in a day. Then adding your own flair is just second nature. The crowd was mostly in their 30s - 50s..a little older than I would've liked but eh...it wasn't so bad dancing with little old latin gentlemen who knew their moves and was just there for fun.....But not ok when a Fabio look-alike approaches and tries to spin you after every basic step like a maniac on the dance floor....haha but I kept my smile on and just had a great laugh about that one :) The Sangria was a little watered down, I expected a better Sangria from a place like this. The food here looked good but we opted for another place afterwards..I think next time it would be nice to have try it if we had more time here. It was a great place to bring your date to learn a little salsa and to have a little fun. :)

Went here for lunch on Friday with 2 other co-workers and the food is pretty good. For Midtown, the prices aren't too bad either. I had a chicken taco salad which comes in a crunchy taco bowl. If you're looking for a somewhat healthy salad, this isn't it. There's hardly any lettuce and it needed some more dressing. But they didn't skimp on the chicken, cheese or guacamole so it was good and filled me up. The other people both got the steak and shrimp skewers and reported that they were good. We also split an order of guacamole which was good but we asked for it to be spicy and it was too spicy for my taste. But I'm not a big fan of spicy stuff so if you like it spicy, you'll get it spicy. We didn't have any special drinks, and the service was pretty good. The food came quickly which should be expected because the place was pretty empty. We got there around 12:15 and left at 1:30 and it was still empty. The bathroom downstairs was only a one-person bathroom which if the place was crowded might have been a problem. Maybe there was another bathroom somewhere that I didn't see, but I'm not sure.
