by Anthony C. on If you're into dancing and a lively crowd, you can expect to have a really good time at Vertigo. The only down side is it's very popular on Friday and Saturday nights and there's not a lot of space, so it gets very packed and very hot. The bouncer's a major douche who thinks he's the coolest hipster on the planet, but if you don't bother saying two words to him, he won't bother you either. The bar counter space is as small as the bar itself so be prepared to throw some elbows to get a drink. At midnight, everyone's had a good amount of alcohol and the dance floor will get pretty wild, which is right up my alley when it comes to a Friday night. But don't expect to clear a circle to show off your latest break dancing moves, there just ain't that much space.
