by Vivien Blumenfeld on The setup of the club is nice but kind of creepy because if you're dancing, everyone upstairs could be watching you carefully with their clear view of the floor. But my first experience there was nothing but a big huge blur. This club seemed like every other club Ive been to so there was nothing too special to set this place apart. And yes, there are many many hot dog carts waiting outside to fulfill you drunk munching needs.
by Kaile B. on LOVED this place!!! I stopped in here while I was waiting for a friend to go to the Cafe. I ended up staying here 3 hours and wishing I never left to go to the Cafe. It was a nice mixed crowd which is hard to find. The atmosphere was great and the wine list extensive They even had the Malbec I liked. Everyone was very friendly including the bartender's mom who was a lovely woman and in town visiting her son. I went back last night and it hasn't even been a week yet. Can't wait to take a date here:)
by Narcisa Tippy on I used to go here at least three times a week when I lived in the Arboretum. Now that I live in South Austin, I sometimes miss Sherlock's. Happy hour is great; Monday - Saturday from 2 - 9 pm, and all day Sunday. That's fairly amazing. They also have wonderful daily specials. We used to be able to order 6 drinks at a time, but after a while they figured out that at any given point our table had 36 drinks on it, and apparently that's not ok. The service is meh. Every once in a while the waitress will briefly pass by your table, but probably won't stop unless you shout at her. This is why we always ordered from the bar. The bar is usually crowded, but the prices are great. The food, not so much. They have live music, and their website is easy to navigate if you want to look up who plays this week. Also, on St Patty's Day, this place is insane! There was a line around the building to get in! Are you crazy? This place is not worth that.
