TOOK MY FRIEND HERE FOR HER 21ST bday & her reaction says it all "Now my expectations for all future bars is going to be so high!!" loved the 20's atmosphere & flapper costumes of the waitresses!  the crowd looked like it spanned the ages of 21-40, a pretty good mix SO the address online says 108 W 2nd st, but 108 is a restaurant & when we arrived these two men outside directed us down the alley ahead, where the REAL ENTRANCE to the edison is! (they check ID's @ the door) got there @ 9 pm, since that's the LATEST time they'll make reservations & btw if you make reservations you must spend $25 minimum per person on food/drink, which is pretty easy considering the drinks aren't cheap (specialty drinks are about $13 each). i'd make reservations b/c otherwise you'll be standing unless you snag someone's table after they've left NO LINE when we came @ 9 pm on Sat. but by 10 pm the wait outside was 30-40 min. for our friends who were meeting us up! ---THE BRASS FLOWER is genius-ly delish! I can see why rateclubsers complain that the drinks aren't strong enough, but that's just the way i like it! ---citizen kane- not bad ---MIstress Nouveaux- great drink too! ---deviled eggs: comes w/ 3 served on crostinis. good but not amazing ---DONUTS w/ espresso custard: the donuts were OK BUT THAT ESPRESSO CUSTARD under the whipped cream was AMAZING.. presentation was so cute! looked like a mini cappuccino! & the donuts were perfect for dipping! ---the absinthe fairy comes around w/ flavored absinthe but she takes CASH only! we got 3 shots for $7 bucks each & got to keep the glass potion bottle as a souvenir! pineapple was much tastier than pomegranate but they both had a black licorice taste NOTE: the cash you pay to the absinthe fairy does not count as part of the 25 minimum per person but our waitress was SO NICE b/c she let us off the hook since we didn't know! PARKING: skip the valet & just get $3-3.50 parking @ any of the lots nearby or if you're lucky score some street parking!

Cool place, crappy steaks.

Great place for the "over 30" hip crowd of Boston. 3 different lounges, and great music. You can eat there but I only had drinks.
