by Ivette Seabreeze on This place has had its run and now its over. Worst crowd. They make it difficult to get in, but it is all a front. Because once you get in, you want to get out. And they purposely make the exit around back, so people in front won't be able to see how many people run on out. I usually never write bad reviews, but this place was just plain awful. Full of crowds with fake IDs.
by Jacinda Saeturn on OMG. I miss this place soooo much, me and my best friend (you probably know him) Jason Snead would ALWAYS be at Blake's. I won Britney Spears Circus tickets @ Blakes in the Hot Body Contest...I GOT 1ST PLACE! lol...*sigh* I'm sure you were there. I have mad love for this place...such good memories. The music, the drinks, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Especially the drag shows!
by Catherine S. on Compound is pretty fun. There can be a long wait to get in, but I think you can get on a list or something from their website. It typically costs between $10 and $20. We went on some special nite when it was $20, and it really sucked because it was so crowded. But on a normal night, it can be a good scene. Mostly we get our dance on in "Ride" (see website). The Tenshi gardens are cool to mingle in. Drinks aren't cheap...like $12 for a Long Island, but I guess it's strong. Parking is a bit of a pain in the ass...cruise around the block to see if there is street parking before paying for a lot. Visit Count: 4
