Contrary to my little-girl looking face that doesn't seem to get any oldish, I've found that my weariness to go clubs these days has increased exponentially as the years go by. My dearies. I'm gettin' too grown for this. I've read some reviews saying that the bouncers here are discriminatory against asians.. Not true. Such discretion would be directed towards you if you are a guy who isn't traveling with a pack of girls. My friends and I waited in line for no more than 5 minutes. The bouncer didn't seem to believe how old I was either because he eyed my ID for about a minute, no kidding. Once we got inside I liked what I saw. The slide was closed off, so I didn't get to try it. The decor of the place is pretty, and it's well taken care of. The crowd wasn't "hoodish" which was a plus, but people were pretty obnoxious and the fact that it was uber crowded wasn't helping any. Lots of people pushing past you or dancing into you. Aside from this, some interesting happenings on the dance floor: Some girl tried to pick a fight with one of my friends, and then minutes after her guy friends yanked her away, those same guys got into it with the DJ. The DJ? Really now? Two people who appeared to be complete strangers to each other were having a makeout fest. It was distracting and quite frankly disgusting. What a random night. Ok back to the positive: the music was pretty good, the wait to get drinks at the bar wasn't too shabby and I had an ok time. I probably wouldn't come back out of choice, but I'm glad I can take this one off of the list of night spots in the city.

Fuzzy recollections of the night sum up my escapade here. Came here for a night of fun and dancing; and this place did not disappoint. The slide was the main attraction for us coming, but nothing riveting about it. However, never have I experienced the duo of slides & carouse. Most definitely would come back, but not for the slide (my body was not grateful for the bruising).
