The story is powerful, the dancing is fabulous, the music is full of energy, the stage set is very creative and makes the theater come alive. The one disappointment was that Patti La Belle did not perform her role at the show we saw. Otherwise it was flawless. This is one of the very best shows that I have seen in broadway.

I won Britney Spears Circus tickets @ Blakes in the Hot Body Contest...I GOT 1ST PLACE! lol...*sigh* I'm sure you were there. I have mad love for this place...such good memories. The music, the drinks, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Especially the drag shows!
by Marco d. on I used to go to this place when it was the Palace, yes, for after-hours back in the days. Standing in line at 3 in the morning to party for 5 or 6 hours more. But still, Avalon is a great venue when a great DJ is in town (was there for Tiesto, Sasha and George Acosta this year). Enjoy the detail on the ceiling while you're dancing your @ss off.
