Mighty's roller disco party was mighty fine. Convenient location right off 101 with easy parking. Nice & unpretentious crowd, clean space, great music. It was the most authentic fun I've had in a while, even though I was completely new to roller skating and fell on my butt, making me super scared that I would re-hurt a recently herniated disc :/ I'm going to buy roller skates to practice and strap a pillow to my ass from now on.

2 for 1 car bombs from 10 pm to 11 pm at 3rd Floor = worst fcking next day workday ever. Well, I shouldn't blame it all on Third Floor since Galway Hooker and a half dozen shots of whiskey had it's hand in my current nausea as well. I just like to blame Third Floor because somehow, as an Asian, you always end up there at one point in the night or another, whether you wanted to or not. The inevitability is annoying. The inevitability of you getting far drunker than you had planned is also annoying. And unless you go for the Tuesday happy hour ($18 all you can drink beer and all you can eat greasy fried korean food) or the car bomb special (2 for $10) its just another Ktown bar with overpriced drinks and too many yellow people. Brb. Feel another dry heave coming on...

If you're from NYC, South Beach or Ibiza, make a stop here and wallow in the see and be scene swank. I definitely enjoyed it. This spot is new iteration of the actual digs which has been one club or another for ages-1650, Vynyl, Hollywood Mogus. Kudos to David Judaken for the gorgeous revamp. It's heavy on celeb spotting here, if you're into that sort of thing. The music was decent but the scene was what made the evening. Go with a crew or solo and make new friends.
