by Neville Anchors on Very nice wine food n vibes. Just bit too noisy and tad bit over priced for what it is. Good service and welcoming space on Castro. Overall very refreshing
by Cedrick Mcconn on Remember the song 'Girls and Boys' by Blur? Girls who are boys Who like boys to be girls Who do boys like they're girls Who do girls like they're boys Maybe they're talking about the 'girls' at Asia SF? Boys, don't be fooled... the dolled-up ladies here were born boys but they certainly could have fooled me! And you too-- judging by the curious, admiring looks some of you were giving those lovelies. Bachelor party? Uh huh. That's what you told your girlfriend ;) Besides the enchanting entertainment at your fingertips (at times, almost literally), the food also wins rave reviews. We had the 3-course 'gold' menu for $38... really a fantastic value considering the quality of our meal and the 2-part show. If I can make a recommendation, try the Asia-dilla (quesadilla stuffed with duck, jack cheese, fresno peppers and scallions, with sun-dried cherry creme fraiche), the Sansho Dusted Filet Mignon (sliced and served with Korean dipping sauce) and the Warm Banana Beignets with Chocolate and Caramel Dipping Sauces to finish. My 3 courses of choice, wow! Cocktails are strong and will get you primed for the naughty distractions. Ladies, keep working those 5-inch heels and tiny dresses... and I envy your tiny waists! I wouldn't be surprised if several ribs were missing. Beauty is pain, after all, right? Good clean fun.
by KnightMoves808 on Although it is a converted warehouse, fantastic job of accomodating Live Bands. The only thing I would add to enhance the ambience is better furniture. Otherwise largest Live Entertainment venue on Oahu.
by Sonia C. on To be honest, i thought this would be yet another over priced trendy place in the meatpacking district. And after having the best steak ever in Buenos aires, i thought id never have beef that good ever again...Well STK proved me wrong. The server was actually nice, attentive. Dare i say, i actually got service ?! We ordered Tuna Tartare which had a perfectly soft and crispy texture. Then i had ordered a 6 oz Filet Mignon. I liked that you could order S, M, L sized steaks. The asparagus and Mushroom sides were amazing. I had no idea that an asparagus could taste that good. And well the beef was fantastic. Yes, the place is expensive. But worth the money for those who appreciate their meat. Tender is the Meat!
by KnightMoves808 on When this place first opened up, they did so with a BANG and had retro flavor'd 70's 80's olskool. Now they cater to a much younger crowd with a much tighter drinking budget. Ha! the real money was with the Baby Boomer/Gen X crowd and we all left for Vegas baby!!
