i was really excited to try this place, and it didn't disappoint! after reading all of the reviews, i was actually surprised how big the actual restaurant is. when you first walk in, there is a standard looking bar, with a few small tables over to the side. continue walking towards the back, and there is another room, with more little tables, and then looking down on that, is an area with a pool table and some couches. plenty of options if you are hoping to have a nice dinner, grab a drink at the bar, or sit somewhere more cozy and intimate. we got there around 7:30 and someone came over and gave us menus right away and got us water. they were also really nice and accommodating when we asked to relocate tables to watch the local music playing. the food was amazing. we ordered the spicy chicken and the spicy lamb, which was plenty of food for two people. the spongy bread was yummy, and the spiciness of the food was just right. also, the ethiopian lagers the waiter recommended was great! bonus, local artists play music every second wednesday of the month! and the food is affordable!

Hi all, must start by saying I went here for a day party, so it was a lil different than every other day. First of all Belvedere hosted party that was 2 dollars a drink so I had a blast. The server was so friendly and my friend and I spit a pepperoni pizza which was a lil greasy but tasty. The bartenders were swamped but could have been nicer. There was a DJ upstairs and downstairs and ppl mingling and dancing everywhere. The patio up top was gorgeous with an awesome view. This place had a classy interior as well, with an indian sorta vibe. I would recommend this place to someone looking to eat outside and enjoy atmosphere.

I came here this weekend for the first time because I wanted to check out the Circus night thing they had going on Saturday nights. I was a little wary and didn't really know what to expect here as it was a 19 and over place. the only thing i can say is....girls watch out!! oh my god, i have never encountered so many aggressive old sketchy men in one place ever in my life!! The venue itself is nice. Huge with plenty of dance floors and different types of music going on. I was annoyed though that the upper two floors didn't open up until around 12:30 even though they were supposed to open at midnight, and there really weren't very many circus-themed performances going on. Nothing very exciting. Where were the trapeze artists?? Maybe they didn't come out until later. But yeah the whole circus thing was a bit of a let-down. But back to the sketchy men. It was rather unfortunate because I liked the dance floor and I liked the music, but it was literally impossible to dance for 30 seconds without a sketchy old man (and by old I mean hitting 40, a lot of them) coming up to try and dance with (aka "grope") my friends and I. There was a severe imbalance between guys and girls there, i would say at least 4 or 5 guys per girl, which explains why we were getting attacked from every corner. It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I have never had this much trouble with guys than here. At least it was free to get in so the night was not a total loss (print out the free passes on the webster hall website and you can get in free before 11pm). Coat check was kind of expensive at $4 but what can you do *shrug*. Perhaps this place is better on different nights? I wouldn't come here again to find out though...
