Mayes I am finally paying you some respect. The ambiance is swank. Love the dark wood bar, cozy couches, nice warm fireplace. The food is great to pick at over drinks. Drinks are always great and they have amazing deals constantly! I was there a Sunday evening for dinner and Champagne was $5. Yes, please. Obviously, can't forget the oysters. Mostly, my favorite part is when this hip little place turns itself into dance central. The DJ they have there plays some AWESOME stuff. You don't want to sit down that's for sure! Since Mayes has opened it is continuously becoming my go to place. I've seen some cuties there as well, but to be honest I keep having so much fun when I go I forget to pay attention.

Hmm- I guess I haven't done a review about this place. You think with all the Neon they have that would equate to a quality cheesesteak. Apparently not. I only had a cheesesteak here way back when. The meat was tough, and the sandwich just didn't do it for me. Isn't this supposed to be one of the Top 5 Philly joints to go to for this sort of thing?? And the "Speak English" sign drops it from 2 stars to 1
