by Catarina Mosqueda on You Probably won't get in but here are a few reasons that should try to get into 1 Of A Kind: *The Hottest Party in the city bar none *DJ plays everything from "Weekend Wars" to "Life's a Bitch" *Sexy Crowd *Sexy Staff *You can smoke inside *There are more celebrities and models here than there are normal people The only reason not to go here is that you will obtain a tremendous hangover the next morning. The type of hangover that you will have to use a "sick" day at work. I think I feel a cold coming on.
by ilana Y. on I came here last Thursday specifically to see LA Riots. I signed up for the guest list which meant it was free to get in (nice). And from 10-11 was open bar...free drinks (nice) even though it was Lucky beer which I believe was the reason I woke up with the worst hangover I've ever had. The decoration was cool. Nice open space. Enough room to dance. It wasn't packed so there wasn't that problem anyway. Every DJ was awesome. I haven't danced that much in years. And when I decided it would be a good idea to get up on the stage and dance, nobody pulled me off. I heard that this place is infused with Asians (and not that I have a problem with them, but I didn't see that many at all). Definitely going back for another event if it's something I'm interested in. Although the curly-haired girl at the table doing the stamping was a bitch.
by Annetta Tachauer on I have been here twice and both times I didn't plan on coming here friends got the vote & they were driving... so you know how that goes. Also, "they had the hook up" on free admission so that was a huge bonus cuz $20 to get in? Fuckin ridiculous. Anyway, this place is a total meat market! Guys wanna dry hump you on the dance floor & wanna take off your clothes with their eyes -- talk about derogating women! But... the women that do come here obviously like it cuz they dress like "cha-cha chics", "hoochies", "attention whores" or whatever you wanna call them n they dance as if they're in a hip hop/reggaeton music video... looking for their "big break" They have 2 dance areas one room playing hip hop & the other room outdoor/patio area playing remixed techno electro 80's crap... you know the type that they play 20 sec of each song intro then they change it? Errr, that got me annoyed! PLAY ONE WHOLE SONG, will ya?! ....but, I'm glad I don't have to go through those nights again b/c you'll never see me here any longer. This place all & all, sucks.
