I've gone here twice now to have their Tuesday night $18 unlimited chicken, katsu, beer, and wine. The idea of having unlimited fried chicken and pork is only appetizing until it's been 2 and a half hours and you realize you've stuff more oil and breading into your unknowing stomach than you would've liked. Meanwhile, the wines are so strong, they can barely be sipped. That's okay though because you can wash it down with the empty calories of a watery Coors Lite.

SO SAD! This place used to be AMAZING. USED TO BE!  Some of my best memories of great DJ's like J ROCC and Mr. Choc and DJ Puffs are here. Rumor has it that there's new management, and things have changed up. In the room with the main stage there's randomness projected onto the wall, making it way too bright in there for my taste. The worst part was that for most of the night the DJs were terrrrrible. Instead of going there to dance, I could have turned on K-Day and had the same mix of music. UGH. What happened to the music here? The DJs transitions were also sudden and just plain bad. The crowd has also changed a lot. It used to be a good mix of everyone in LA - mostly an even mix of people of color plus some white folks. This time it was mostly Latinos, which is totally fine by me, but I do miss having a go to spot with solid music and a cross-section of LA's people. I would have given this a 1-star review, but you get 2 stars for the memories.
