I admit it, after reading all the other reviews on Nick's Crispy Tacos I expected to be more of a dive! The place has character, red booths, full bar ect. Don't even bother ordering a reguar taco, you need to get it "Nick's way," crispy and covered in guacamole goodness. I was super impressed with all the options - cane asada, chicken, fish and even the camerones were of really good quality. Much better that that of the average tacqueria! The taquitos are really good and not too greasy which is ofter the problem with taquitos. The green salsa is my fav. I also got the top shelf margarita ($6) whooo it was strong! I would argue I got my money's worth of tequila. However, they also had a $3 House margarita. So glad I listened to all the other rateclubsers and finally tried this place. TIP - Cash only, be prepared!

They have a hammock. I think that merits 4 stars right there. This place reminds me of a tree house. They were just opening when we got there, and the owner invited us to go up to the loft and hang out. There was great music playing, a lofted bandstand, and a drum circle starting up. They also have movie nights, and an LGBT night. We didn't get to try their drinks, but I will be back soon.
