by Emily D. on ohhhh trinity... my go-to club, when all else fails me. It seems as though trinity has gotten a bad rep, being in a sketchy part of town - in comparison to belltown or bellevue, but you can't expect too much from downtown seattle. Pros: - Location (Ibizas, Last Supper Club and Heaven are all within a block! So, get yourself on all the guestlists and pick when the time comes haha) - Relatively busy on any night you decide to go. If you just need to go and get your dancing fix without being the only one on the floor - Trinity is not too bad. - A good mix of people, not all SUPER asian (not that there is anything specifically wrong with that!) - VIP, free cover before 11pm through the website - Make friends with the people who work there :D - Lots of space to sit and to roam around Cons: - Drinks are expensive... but if you find the bubbly, nice bartender and tip him well on the first round, you'll be rewarded. - The manager always looks like he's got a stick up his butt, so try not to get kicked out, like my friend has. - Creepy guys... Mostly outside the club, but make sure you go in with a group anyway - Parking... but parking anywhere is terrible. Overall: I enjoy Trinity if there are no birthday parties or going away shindigs to get in my bi-monthly dancing fix, although if I had to ever PAY to get in? the would go down about 1.5
by Michelle W. on I'm torn between giving this place 3 stars and 4 stars... but to be safe, 3 it is. This place is HUGE for a club in SF. I recommend signing up on guest list so you don't have to pay the cover charge. At most, you'll probably end up paying $5. As with all other SF clubs, get in line early. I believe you have to get into the club by 11pm, not be in line by 11pm. If you get there any later, you'll have to pay for the regular cover charge. Once you get in, there is a bar area where you can hang out in. If you keep walking, there is a big white room. There is a bar on each side and an area upstairs to sit down (possibly closed off for VIP, I don't remember). This room usually only plays house music. You'll need to check the events calendar to see what music they'll be playing that night. If you go downstairs, you'll run into a dark basement looking room that plays a variety of music. I've heard jungle and hip hop, but check the website to be sure. If you keep walking, you'll end up in a smaller room with a bar. This small room can get very hot, but most nights they play hiphop, top 40s music. I'm not a huge fan of house music, so I don't go here often, but I do love the size of the place. I wish they had more hiphop nights.
