Food is good but not enough and pretty expensive. Had a Salmon plate which was good but I was starving after I finished it. Had a good time at the Goapele concert. Nice small theater. Next time i'll stop at popeyes chicken which is behind yoshi's in the fillmore center and have a 2 piece as an appetizer first...

My first visit was a Saturday escorted by a fellow rateclubser. We had to park a block or so away. The ambience of this lounge is fantastic. When you walk inside you enter the main area with a lighted marble (faux?) bar that is beautiful. There's a stalactite-like chandlier that hangs in the corner which changes color. There's a huge steel sculpture along one wall that has a pattern cut into it and is lit from behind with changing colors. I liked that there was seating for everyone, not just VIP. Upstairs is the DJ. This night he was excellent in the beginning, but near the end of the night he started mixing songs that weren't the best for dancing. Upstairs is more seating, some VIP, and another bar. Love the frosted glass, black furniture, and layout. There's no official dancefloor. Everyone dances upstairs where ever you find space. There's not a lot of space when people loiter with drinks, but hey, it works. I danced. I had a great time. I saw people aged 21 - 40(?), but mostly 20 and 30-somethings. No need to go formal on dress unless you want to - jeans are welcome. I enjoyed beer and wine, so I cannot comment on the mixology of drinks. And Halo has THREE bathrooms to help cut down on wait lines. That's worth 4 stars in itself!
