Drinks are STRONG (at least with my bartender) and they have a drag show every Friday and Saturday night (which I skip, but some people do like this). Blake's is walkable for me and most of gay midtown, so you'll get a lot of locals. Where the drag show is held on Friday and Saturday nights, it turns into a dance floor (around 1am or so). Fun place.
by Noel D. on Started going here hmmm around 2003 or 4 cant remember. This place has changed over the 3 year span of time that I used to come here. Well at first King King was great because everyone was laid back. Then word got around and it ended up becoming a typical hollyweird trendy spot. Drinks are great here though. 10 bucks will get you a pint of anything. And the bartenders are very generous when aactually serving "alcohol" I ususally go for 2 AMF's then I get all fuzzy. Some nights are better than others here and parking can be a drag if you come after 11pm. The music used to be great, but like all music... things change....
