Sort of like any other Stephen Starr restaurant. Heavy on concept, cool decor, ok food. What sets Pod apart from every other restaurant that I have ever been to, however, is the fact that they are very bad at accommodating guests with seafood allergies. I asked the waitress if there was any shellfish in the dish I ordered, (specifically saying "crab" and "lobster") she said no, and I ended up eating a few pieces of sushi that I now realize were heavy on the king crab legs. I'm not deathly allergic, but I did spend the rest of the night scratching insatiable itches on the toilet. And what really seals my one-star rating is the fact that the manager was downright rude to me when I stopped by the next day to civilly complain about my experience. I've generally found Stephen Starr restaurants to be underwhelming, but this experience was positively painful.

DO NOT EVEN THINK OF GOING HERE. I blacked out and collapsed in the club. Thankfully I was there with a friend. NOT ONE PERSON HELPED ME. I can't even express how messed up and scary that is. NOT ONE PERSON HELPED MY FRIEND PICK ME UP! He supposedly took me outside and while outside, the bouncers didn't help either. One of them apparently flagged down a cab to get me home so my friend didn't have to leave me, but that's it. WHAT JERKS. How can you just ignore the fact that someone collapsed in your club? What if I had a concussion or broke something?? $30 cover and this place sucked inside. Crappy music, pretty crappy people, and even worse service, clearly. $35 for two drinks is really out of hand. I am so angry about this garbage. The photos aren't accurate, either. It's pretty shitty inside. I can't believe not ONE person helped my friend carry me or got someone that works there to help us. I think someone had put something in my drink because two drinks would not do this to me. I woke up in the hospital today. Thanks, Marquee! If I were you, I wouldn't fund garbage like this.

This past weekend was my first time at Temple for a birthday bash and we got table service. From the outside this club looks pretty small. However on the inside, it's pretty spacious with 3 different rooms. The Good: Diverse crowd. Three different rooms each playing different music, which makes it easier to please a large group whom might like different music. The main room has a nice décor and has an upscale look like many clubs in Vegas. Our hostess was very nice and kept checking up with our table to see if we needed anything. The Bad: It did seem kind of hot and stuffy. The ventilation is worse then most clubs I've been to. I felt our table area was a bit small and limited in space for our party size (16+ people). Would of been perfect size for a group of 8-12. Summary: Overall, I really enjoyed the club and had a good time.
