by alamedabrian m. on My only nighttime visit was for a special event, so my review is for their brunches, lunches, and afternoons drinking and socializing on the deck. Great atmosphere; of course that's almost automatic in my view for a place on the water. I prefer the food at the Ramp down the street but that is more of a personal taste than a real quality judgment, and Mission Rock's prices are better. The decks over the water are always a fun place to sit and relax over lunch or a few rounds. All in all, a fun place. I agree with the less favorable posters about the rather dodgy approach to opening and closing.
by Nate F. on If you come here knowing what's good and when to come, you'll have a real fun time. During the nicer months the rooftop lounge (entrance on the side street, up the elevator) is the place to be, especially for happy hour M-F 5-7. It gets crowded so be sure to get there early! Great cocktail list for $6 during happy hour, great food specials as well: the shoestring fries and mushroom flatbread are not to be missed!! Crowd is late 20s and 30s, some out-of-towners, it's clear from the dress that many people are stopping by after work in the office.
