The infamous strip club, turned church, turned night club has done quite an overhaul. The new plush dance spot is glammed up and suited in black and gold trim. They did an impressive job with the audio and visual effects for the big open space. The upstairs VIP level are enclosed in glass holds a DJ Booth and two private bars. The dance floor surround the main floor's VIP section (similar to Club Mansion in South Beach). The main bar stretches the length of the back wall. Bottles are showcased on high glass shelves lit by large projector/ LCD screens. Guest list is a MUST and Table service is highly advised. They do a good job integrating the vip table with built-in glass holder and ice bucket. I hate for a table to be cluttered with unnecessary things when it can be used as a dance top near the end of the night, lol. Looking forward to see what type crowd they attract in the upcoming months.

came here on a summer saturday night during my last seattle visit. there was an event held by some local promoters that my cousin knew of, so there was no trouble getting in. this was our third and most enjoyable stop of the night. i assume this is seattle's asian top spot or something, cause i swear as we entered i felt as if i had never left home! the vibe was similar to that of a typical san jose club. though i went on vacay to escape the familiar scene, i had a ton of fun! what was also quite amusing, here i ran into an old friend in which i went to the same high school with! him and he wife relocated to washington and yes are both asian... the layout here is kind of modern and random in terms of other clubs and lounges i've been to. it's a bit odd where they position the dj right against the wall dead center of the enclosed space. with this creating the dance floor, walk way area does tend to get a little tight. one of the hired dj's for the night seemed rather weak and could've worked on his transitions some what. seriously, what was with all the reggae that night? quality control here isn't bad though. they do a good job keep out the belligerent and rowdy. there was a a typical drunk girl who couldn't even hold herself up in front of us in line. apparently security had requested she leave the club earlier and she was in line to re-enter. quite embarrassing on her part though, she was leaning on the guys before her and falling all over us! the bouncers remembered her luckily and held her to the side while they went in to search for her friends. we weren't at ibiza from beginning to end, but still managed to enjoy the time spent. i'd probably attend this venue again the next time in town, just hopefully if it's the same promotion group i suggest they hire a new photographer. he was a bit rude.

Got there at 1:00am, an hour before last call, and the bouncer charged us $20.00 dollars each on a Saturday night with Top 40 hip-hop music - are you kidding? Went inside, and if you've been clubbing in Boston before, this place isn't anything different. The dance floor is in the center, recessed. It was crowded and people kept bumping my drinks. A couple of guido guys got up onto a ledge and did a "I'm on top of the world" pose from Titanic, while caressing each other (it wasn't a gay night BTW). The club is crap and it tries too hard to prove otherwise. It's a forgettable experience, nothing special worth noting and it certainly wasn't worth the $20 cover!
