by Duncan C. on A hesitant 4-stars. Why hesitant? Mainly because when I came here, I was off my face. I have memories of strong drinks (which is a bad idea when you're already quite hammered, but they were cheap, I think...), my friend spilling one of her drinks over someone's discarded shoes, dancing like a maniac, and then banging on a drum that magically appeared later on. Definitely a lot of fun, although probably more fun if you're not trying to dance while simultaneously propping yourself up on a nearby wall.

Bootie. this place never disappoints...the last time I went, it was at the mezzanine, which was cool and still fun....but i much prefer it at DNA lounge. the crowd is a total mixed bag, and you don't have to worry about your wardrobe because there will no doubt be someone there who is weirder than you are. i've gone for Halloween, which was a blast. the music is awesome...i didn't really know exactly what a mash-up was before I went...sometimes the actual show can go a little long, especially if you don't like one of the songs being "mashed," so to speak. But the majority of the time, it's loud, crowded mass of people...and the drinks are pretty cheap and strooong. and i can tell you that with plenty of experience. If you get there before 10, it's only 6 bucks...can't beat that. definitely one of my faves.
