by Courtney D. on I was here last weekend for a close friends birthday bash, we saw EC SCOTT, I give her 5 stars all the way, it was a great performance! Had I not walked in to see my friend carrying a pitcher of water to our table, only to be followed by her sister balancing a stack of glasses I may have given another star, they food was pretty good, once we got it that was, service was ridiculously slow and it wasn't even a full house, our waitress had to be reminded of orders asked to bring the drinks we ordered quite some time before to us, then tell her what went where, shit I should have got the tip and split it amongst all my friends who did a lot of the serving. Highlights on the menu the mac & cheese croquet YUM! (I had 2 orders) the basket of biscuits with an amazing honey butter (I think it was honey) damn good! Fiery shrimp was not bad Fried Chicken was OK, Hard Knox & Farmer Browns are still the leaders in fried chicken if you ask me! but the cole slaw was one of the best in the West as I don't care much for cole slaw that's saying a lot! I will go back for the entertainment, the heart-attack comfort food is pretty good but the service is 2 stars all the way, maybe it was an off night, I'll update the next time I have the pleasure of visiting this cool Blues Club.
