We went to Maggiano's for Mother's Day, and had a wonderful experience. My wife loves calamari, so we started out with the Calamari Fritte appetizer... and my wife declared it the absolute best calamari she had ever had. After both of us had the Spinach Salad (also very good), she had an entree (I forget the name) that had lobster, snap peas, and applewood smoked bacon over spaghetti in a garlic cream sauce and I had the Shrimp & Crab Cannelloni. Her entree was huge (enough for 3 meals) and had extremely generous amounts of lobster... but it did have more claw meat (as opposed to tail meat) than she would have preferred. My entree was amazing with the cannelloni being as thin as a crepe, the insides wonderfully oozing with seafood & cheese, and the dish cooked to perfection. The only minor negative on my entree was that it was a bit heavy on the seasoned bread crumbs. For dessert, OMG the chocolate cake was HUGE!!! The sambucca mousse between each layer was flavored with the sambucca just enough to bring out the richness of the chocolate without stealing the show. I enjoyed dessert with a great cup of coffee (black), and my wife enjoyed the Nutty Italian Coffee (with Frangelica & Bailey's Irish Creme). Our waiter Zach was extremely helpful throughout. We're definitely gonna come back.

Great place if you're looking to dance. Music is Top 40 and DJs are the best that i've experienced since living in SF for about a year. I have gone mostly on Saturdays which draws a diverse crowd. Good thing there is no cover charge, however, there is the requirement that every guy gets in for every girl. Make sure your group is balanced or find a girl already in line to go with. It can get crowded quickly and seating is very limited. This is very much a dancing place, so of course it can get hot. I recommend the bartender on the far left side of the bar, named Rob, who is very quick and good at making drinks. I have been on Fridays, but with many Asians about it's not my scene. One attracting element is their slide that is sometimes open for people to go down in (FYI shoes have to be taken off) There is a coat check right next to the bottom of the slide, and it's $2 per item.
