I tell myself this all the time, "Girl, you really have to stop the club thing. You're getting older and you should stay home and host a dinner party instead. Leave it to the young kids to terrorize the streets of L.A." So what did I end up doing? I headed out to Drais of course. I get to Drais and of course there was a ridiculous line to get in. Luckily I didn't have to stand in that god awful line. I don't believe in lines, I don't believe in waiting, I don't believe in paying to get into a club. That's L.A; you have to know someone who knows someone. The venue was very Las Vegas meets L.A-esque. Very sexy, chic, and had a fabulous view. The dance floor was tiny but with a pair of 5 inch shoes I wasn't planning on doing much dancing but the music was good. The bottle service was great. Our server lady was super hot (of course) and always insisted that I had a drink in my hand. Beautiful people everywhere and a handful of d bags. The club doesn't close till 4am but I was out by the normal L.A standard time, 2am. The place starts to clear up at around 2 anyways. So what's a trip to club without a story? Be aware of drunken young girls. So, this little girl has a full glass of some kind of drink and it was obvious that she was wasted. She was dancing like some kind of tribal warrior dance and spilling her drink all over the place. All over the place meat that it was partially on me, and more than once. I wanted to take the patron bottle and whack it over her head but that would be wasteful, of patron. Should have order cheapy Skyy vodka and whacked her. Better yet, a plastic bottle of Popov and that way I could have given the bottle to her to take home to her friends. Drunken madness is not sexy.

One of my all-time favorite concert venues next to The Warfield and The Fillmore. This longtime San Francisco staple has catered to all genres of music and artists. Most memorable concerts include Jamie Cullum, Talib Kweli, Les Nubians, Mya, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Kevin Spacey (singing Bobby Darin). The ambience is nostalgic and the staff service is top notch. Long live Bimbo's 365!
