by Cornelia Krager on I've been here twice and I just don't get it. The atmosphere is lounge-like, but it really is poorly painted and the furniture is uncomfortable. It's like they wanted to go for a look but weren't willing to spend money on it. The food here is OK. Nothing worth writing home about, and for what you get, it's a little overpriced. The waitstaff is also awkward and a bit spacey. Is this some sort of training ground for waiters? Mer.
by Hoa Klaphake on This place was such a snooze!! The only reason I came here was because my group stayed over from the Hollywood Men show earlier that night. Otherwise, I'd never have a reason to come to this place. I will admit that the venue itself is very spacious and nice, and the dance floor is pretty big. However, there's nowhere to sit unless you're VIP and I find that completely ridiculous. The guys here were of the creepy variety who ignore body language that clearly screams you'd rather drink paint than dance with them. The rest of the crowd was GHETTO...some drunk girl tried to get tough with me in the restroom because I simply asked if she was in line for the next stall. I used my wit and logic (two words I doubt she could even spell) to shut her ass up. The DJ stunk and only played R&B and hip hop from the late 90s. It was the crappy soundtrack to an evening that reminded me of every awkward dance I attended in junior high. Except those dances rocked so much harder!
by Meghan H. on Oyster Po' Boy. Wow. Seriously, I crave this sandwich. And the sauce they serve with it is delicious on the sandwich as well as the fries. Add to that an effortlessly laid back atmosphere, low prices, and great beer selection, and you have an excellent neighborhood spot.
