Decor and crowd was kinda old...despite it being in a hip young Hollywood.  Must get course menu for everyone in your party.  I can't believe all the different courses we tried (around 10 different ones), but each was delicious!  LOVED the lobster and the wagyu the most.  I need to go back so I can try more!

So far, this is my all-time favorite bar in the city.  The ambience is exactly what you'd hope to find in San Francisco: dark, red, & victorian.  It's sexy yet cozy.  Plus there's live music.  Now, admittedly, I was here for a less-than-packed show: the Syd Barrett tribute night (how it did not draw a wall-to-wall crowd is beyond me).  Since I too am turned off by over-crowded venues, I might take pains to only come on off nights, so as not to spoil the awesomeness.
