by Jeff Q. on All I have to say is check out the "heel-clicker." She's a talented young lady. Come on people. It is what it is: a bar where you can continue the debauchery post-2. It's not a fancy nightclub or a classy tavern. It's a place for people who are already wrecked to keep getting wrecked. It's often a "rough" looking crowd, but I have never encountered the slightest problem with any patrons or staff (just don't stand in front of the service area, numbskull). I've gone with girls, as well, who loved it. A previous female reviewer complained about feeling unsafe... Well, the girls that I went with raved about how friendly everyone was, and enjoyed drinking for free the entire time we were there. If you take it for what it is, this can be a hell of a fun place to hang out when you're between bars and breakfast.
by Jill G. on I had lunch here the other day, and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere and menu is supposed to be New Orleans inspired. The decor does remind me of New Orleans, and the waitresses no longer wear the skimpy outfits that I see others have reported. I had a cheese burger, so I can't say whether the po'boys or other Louisiana foodstuffs were any good or not. The burger was nice and juicy, and the fries were really good. Only complaint was that the service was a little slow. So, if you're around Phipps try it out!
