by Hooria T. on We came to Slide on a Saturday night, there was virtually no line and the doormen gave us no grief about what we were wearing (none of us were dressed for going out), guestlists, cover, etc. Once inside, those brave enough can opt to enter the lounge through the slide or stairs. Wearing a dress and 4" heels, I opted for the stairs. I'm not a club type person and really enjoyed my time at Slide. The music could've been better (Lady Gaga, to Bon Jovi, to Red Hot Chili Peppers?!), and not so loud, otherwise the crowd was good and not too crowded (there's plenty of seating to rest your feet after dancing your heart out). If you're looking for it, it's the unmarked door to the left of Ruby Skye. Enjoy!
by Kody L. on Wow, this is some not-so-great food. I had the weekend special pozole, which was pretty bland. The ceviche was probably the worst I've ever had. Tacos were good, hard to mess those up. Come here for the drinks, I think that's their focus made obvious by their recent relocation to 6th Street in order to take advantage of the SXSW crowd and be a venue. I loved the margaritas!
