I don't LOVE this place as much compared to BADLANDS or TOADHALL... but I like it and its definitely a fun place to be. Truth be told I've had a few dates that ended up here and we always had a GREAT TIME, plus the club is definitely one of the, if not the best, looking clubs in the Market/Castro area. So don't miss it Missy! First of all they accept card so thats a big plus! The drinks are decently priced and not gauged like they are at LIME or that new restaurant bar across the street, BIJOUS or something, and the dancefloor blends in with the main floor so you are free to DANCE whenever and wherever Shakira style! Let your She-wolf out cause she can't breathe! Speaking of that, they rarely play any top 40 songs, mainly just House, Electro, and sometimes Dance remixes, which some might like and some wont. Regardless, ROCK IT OUT damn! One more thing, my favorite part of TRIGGER is without a doubt the upstairs seating, overlooking the cages/chandeliers and the whole club. Let me just say that its the best place to bust that pelvis and/or canoodle with your date, boyfriend, or whomever... Can't remember all the things that we did here but that will be the best memories!

Sorry to rain on the parade... or rather the dance party, but... well, I have to. I came here on a Friday night with friends in search of a good 80's dance party. There were a handful of songs that were truly from the 80's (mainly mainstream hits), but most was more recent. Sorry, but if I come out for dancing and 80's, that's what I want. 80's does not equal Top 40; the math isn't difficult. Dancing involves moving your body to the music. It does not mean that the crowd should constantly stop to stand in place and sing along. If I wanted that, I'd check out a karaoke joint. That said, it was nice to see a mixed age group... I think I saw some moms breaking it down in one of the corners. The bar was busy, but the bartenders were attentive and the staff were constantly clearing glasses, even though the small dance floor got sticky early. I felt bad for the DJ, who looked like he was playing the last set of his life... just, sadly, it sounded like it, too.
