by Mike R. on GETTING IN: Went on a wed night.. not sure what the "night" is here but from what it seemed like it was either be on a promoter's list or you're not getting in. A rather bitchy looking 30-40-something greets you at the door and was QUITE polite to those on a list, but was somewhat curt with those that were not.. but hell, better than BS'ing them and wasting people's time right?? Either way, get on a list. THE CROWD: Hollywood.. of course. Surprisingly a LOT more girls than guys were there.. a variety of styles and people here.. some older guys in suits, girls in various types of outfits from super slut to conservative.. all in all a nice mix looks wise, but certainly most everyone seemed into their group they were with and not too interested in mingling/meeting new people. THE CLUB: Small. quite so.. its basically a bunch of tables with walkways between them then a large long bar.. the club kept reminding me of cheap, small version of the edison.. there are the mostly nakid girls prancing around which is creepy at times, hot at others which certainly puts a smile on your face but ya, all in all for such a touted venue i was expecting a bit more impressive of a club. Not to mention a MUCH bigger place.. there were a couple areas that were behind curtains which who knows if they open that up normally, not quite sure. OVERALL: A pretty cool place and certainly worth taking in once. A good amount of eye candy and if you can get in might as well go, but I can't see myself there too often personally.
by Martin O. on I spent Satruday night in the VIP at a NCAA guy's weekend night in SOBE. It was one crazy night! The VIP entrance is just north of the main entrance on Washington.
