by Jordan Dobiesz on Lovely theatre w/ great stage and sound system. I still remember watching Wicked here and aside from the awesome show and awesome ushers, my only complaint are the seats. The gentleman next to me was clearly one of the "modern Americans" who naturally flowed into my seat... and I just wish the seats or at least the spaces between the seats were a bit wider. A bit of leg room wouldn't have hurt either (and I'm 4'10"!!!). Aside from that, from the beautiful 20s architecture to the wonderful shows offered at this venue, this theatre is quite magnificent and one I hope to grow with through the years.

Used the Guestlist email from their website to get on list, got confirmation email back, went there early on Saturday (so early we were second in line), waited for over an hour while the entrance area was deserted except for the long line that was forming behind me, asked bouncer what we were waiting for, he said it is up to the host, a ridiculously tall & skinny trying-to-look-like-a-she-he-to-distract-from-my-b itchy-ugly-personality umm creature, whom we went to talk to & told us that the table service & vip customers had to be taken care of first (mind me, only entrance to this place has like a person going in every 5 mins at this point, we could see, we're right on the other side), so us second citizens who they gladly provided the illusion of guestlist invitation went back to line for some more minutes to decide we hated this prententious place enough that we'd not want to go in & no effen way we were spending our cash drinking here. Had an awesome time elsewhere where they don't try as hard.
by Jim Valrey on Thoroughly unimpressed with this place. Hip? Maybe. Unfortunately, I wouldn't know. Our gathering, though large, was sequestered in the underground dungeon. For $40 I got 1 finger sandwich, 2 glasses of sparkling wine, and 3 strawberries with chocolate sauce. Really? Did I have a nice time? Yes. Though, they could have tented the city dump and served Cook's Champagne and it would have been just as nice. Company was great, but the venue was so not worth the $$. Bubble Lounge is over inflated. Two thumbs down. Thbbbbttt. POP!
