by Sally N. on After being here for 5 minutes, I texted a fellow traveler to come here next time they're in town. This place has touched my soul with their innovative french soup dumplings, roof top hangout, awesome drinks and two way bathroom mirrors. It's got a 50's kitschy vibe and service with a smile. I highly recommend the aforementioned french soup dumplings, grilled scallops, and grilled octopus. This place seems to be good for any sort of hangout (friends, parents, date) or event. I hope to make it back here a few more times to see if the rating sticks.
by Max P. on Pod is great if a) someone else is paying or b) you're there for one drink/light meal/not going to spend a lot. The dinner menu is not worth what you pay for it, which is upwards of $30+/person. Mixed drinks can run as much as $10-12 and, though the ambiance is 'interesting', its a bit much. The decor looks like an early 90s interpretation of the indoor of a futuristic spaceship. The pods (private round table booths) are great, but you need at least 5 people to reserve one. They won't let you sit in them even during lunchtime on a weekday, when the place is relatively empty (I've tried twice now). Food-wise, the sushi is very good, the Kobe burger is tasty (and huge!), and the fries are crispy (if you're into crispy fries, you'll love it). The desert sampler is a fun way to try a little of everything, so I'd recommend saving room for it.
