by Yuriko Mcdavitt on Its right next door to the Broadway Bar so you can grab a drink before or after a show here. They do serve drinks though. I love the old hollywood/opulent decor. We got seats in the balcony for the Aziz Ansari Show and they were pretty good, although I thought the sound could have been a tad bit louder. Or maybe Im hard of hearing. Id love to see another act here.
by Ryan M. on I went to Trousdale on a Saturday night with a friend and another couple. The line seemed long, so you will probably want to get on a guest list or get a table to avoid standing outside. Also, we took a cab so I can't comment on valet/parking issues. The atmosphere was great, there was great music, and the crowd was a lot of fun. I ordered a Manhattan and forgot to specify "Makers" for the whiskey, but it was well made and the "well" shi was pretty swell. -1 star for the lack of a decent smoking area, but -1 star for me for smoking. My friend DJ'd here a couple of weeks ago and he is awesome, so I know they pull great talent for the music. Based on my first experience here the same holds true for the bartenders and all the rest of the staff.
by Timika Mostert on Great for dinner and drinks with large groups. They were able to handle separate checks as long as you tell them from the onset. I started off with a caiprinha, perfectly prepared. Our best items were: the shrimp ceviche, calamari with tomatoes and cayenne, lamb meatballs, fish tacos. We loved the calamari so much that we ordered another plate of it towards the end of the night. We enjoyed but did not go crazy over: Crab cakes. What a feast on fresh, well prepared seafood and lamb. I look forward to returning very soon! 2 caiprinhas,1 corona, 2 calamaris, 1 crab cakes, 1 lamb meatball, 1 shrimp ceviche, 2 fish tacos, 1 chicken taco came to $76 inclusive of 20% tip.
