I really like the lay out of the place but your gonna freeze your ass off if your outside!!!!!!(if its cold). Two dance floors with different music, more than 1 bar, outside area and cozy little fire pit. the music was hip hop tonight. Valet parking is $20, your extremely lucky if you find parking on the street. Its literally across the street from Roscoes Chicken n Waffles which is a plus if you like WAFFLES...drinks seem to be expensive and I believe there's a cover of $20 dollars if your not on a list...Over all experience= A ok ;) ...

by Royal Espiridion on This was my first visit to Yoshi's. Average White Band was playing here last night and they were terrific. Not all the original band members, but hey! they've been around for 35+ years :-) The drummer, in particular, was excellent. My date is also a drummer in a band so he was thoroughly enjoying the music. For a bunch of 'old guys' the band had the crowd on their feet. The sushi was decent and fresh, and the wine was pricy, but good. If it hadn't been a 'school' night...we were tempted to stick around and see the show again for free since AWB didn't play all of their hits during their first show of the evening. However, being the responsible adults that we are, we passed on the second show. I definitely will be coming back to Yoshi's in the future.
