Good dive bar!  Very large open space with high ceilings.  There's a small upstairs area with shuffle board and a good sized downstairs with darts and two pool tables.  The tables aren't the most level, but it's only $1 per game!  Uh... that's a crazy great DEAL in LA!  Very nice selection of imported and local beers.  If you don't do beer, they carry Mike's Hard bottled drinks.  Strange mix of folks.  Seems like anything goes there.  I have to say- ladies- please- learn to wear pants that flattery your derriere!  Woo-WOO were there some bad jeans up in there!  Anyway, it's a good place to grab a beer with a few friends and play some games for a relatively good price.  A little loud, but well ventilated, and has good bathrooms.  We'll definitely be back.  People were taking full advantage of the juke box while I was there, but they were picking cool music.  There's a nice, large stage in that joint!  It needs to be put to use!  Hope they get some good bands in there.

I've been wanting to go to Circle for a while now, because I heard it was the new hot spot and then I heard Se7en was the guest for the night...so I finally went... And I would not go again unless it was for a friend's b-day.  Yes, I *would* prefer to be able to breathe and move more than an inch on the dance floor and yes, the sparklers that accompanies every new bottle purchased are cheesy and show-offy.  The line was already getting long when we arrived at 11 but we had a table so we were on the 'express' line.  Even then, we had to pay $4 for "mandatory" coat check, wth?? Our table was next to the DJ box with (what I thought ) 'private' bathrooms.  Instead, we had random people walking up to our table/room (it was on the second floor) and using our bathrooms with the waiters completely indifferent.  "Booking" was rampant as waiters did their best to earn their tips by pulling girls to tables.  If it wasn't for Se7en, the night would've been a complete loss... Pros: Groups of girls get in fast! (like every other club) Cool violinist performance after 2 am Cons: TOO MANY PEOPLE aka no room to dance Mandatory coat check Smoke machines Music was too much K-pop and not enough hip-hop ( I know, it's a korean club but still!)
