For a fancy dinner night out, I suggest TAO. The interior is pretty cool and the food is delicious--- well my dessert and main course was. The price was decent too. I spent around $30-$50 for myself with a group of friends for a birthday. The servers are nice, the place is loud but very dim. I can't tell you about the other dishes made here but I particularly enjoyed my non-stop pad-thai. Surprisingly it was very filling to the point I had to take the left overs because I just could not finish it! Attire is dressy so no casual wear please. It's always fun to dress nice on a good occasion!

7.4.10: What is there to do on Fourth of July? Well since its my friends birthday it was time to celebrate. He had his birthday at My Studio. I have never been there before and so it was my chance to check out this club. Of course we have to pay for parking, kind of the thing to do in Hollywood. Inside was small, the smoking area did not have any door separation between the inside. What is also nice was that the smoke didn't actually make its way through the inside of the club to irritate the non-smokers. The place is fabulous. I really like the bubble décor around the bar, and the walls of this place has nice designs and it was very detailed. The place was very swanky almost. The crowd was Asian and the music was absolutely awesome. If you like dancing you will be able to but with limited space. This is another spot for a good chilling type club. I would come here again.

I was def. fooled by the pictures and location of this "club". also I just saw it featured on some nightlife program on TV and I almost forgot I went there because they made it look so trendy. Can't forget this though: crappy atmosphere, scrappy crowd, awful drinks, awkward space. Why bother having a 2nd level at all? it just increases the crappiness.
