by Sarah B. on So I had seen Phoenix Landing several times before as I drive through Central Square at least once a week. I've always been intrigued to go and see what they were all about and finally got my chance. I brought 3 close friends in for a quick drink in the afternoon. Its prices seemed reasonable ($7-$10 per drink) and were pretty creative. I ended up ordering the Raspberry Mojito and while it was absolutely delicious it was in a tiny glass (which took away some points) and it was difficult to drink because of the many mint leaves. I wanted to eat the raspberries but no the mint leaves. Perhaps my own quirk with mojitos. It looks like it'd be a great night-time spot but it worked just fine for an afternoon drink. I'd go back if I went out drinking with friends or if I wanted to watch a world cup game for sure.
by Brooklyn R. on I absolutely adore the new Knitting Factory...its a great location, extremely community-oriented and still rocks out every night! The staff are super-nice and the new space is very well designed, a definite improvement on Luna Lounge. :) Look for me here at least once a week, especially for Lost on Tuesday nights...they actually have Dharma beer!
