So disappointed, didn't even get to see the place. We were supposed to go to an event here, that same afternoon we ant to the venue to get tickets for the rest of our group that hadn't purchased them, and to get more information. The doormen weren't rood but weren't happy to help with the information either. Once they answered one question they would turn without answering our next question. Time for the event we go to find the street shut down by police - they oversold the event. Even the people, like us, that had purchased their ticket in advanced couldn't get in. I do have to give them stars because in a week I had my money back in my account.

I'm a girl and therefore should NEVER have to pay cover at a club and I don't care if it is the city, because I could name 10 other clubs where a girl's admission would be reduced, if not free! This is DEF my issue with Providence. Not only are ladies not free, but we have to pay just as much cover as the guys (I paid $20 last time I was there). BS! Cover could range anywhere between $15-$30. I've been here on several occasions (always on Fridays and Saturdays) and I've always found that the promoters or the people at the door are dishonest and the cover is never what is advertised in the flyers/websites (I've seen both reduced or comped for ladies and this has NEVER been the case - I always end up paying and sometimes more than advertised). In addition, there were 2 occasions where they said that another room would be playing Latin and both times the room was closed. The place itself is ok. Decent sized dance floor on the main level with one bar. There's a room in the basement with it's own bar, lounge area, and dance floor. (This room isn't always open). And there's another bar and an area upstairs that overlooks the main dance floor, but there really isn't room to dance unless you're in the VIP area. Music (Hip-hop, R&B, Reggae, House, Latin) has been good every time I've been but for the cover and the price of the drinks, I'd rather go somewhere else. The crowd has always been mixed.
