by Chelle M. on Oh Oscar's, how I love you so. You like cheap drinks and low lighting? You like David Bowie, Prince, Queen, Cheap Trick, The Cure, ABBA or anything that came out between 1970-1990? Do you like family-run places where you don't have to worry about some asshole spilling his drink on you while he fistpumps in the air? Then, my friend, come to Oscar's. I love this place like a mother loves her child. To me, this place can absolutely do no wrong and even though some nights may end in Northern Liberties or South Philly, they almost ALWAYS start here.
by Hannah G. on The Continental Midtown has a consistently good food, fun decor, a lively crowd, and a great location. Nothing I've eaten there is incredible, though the crab pad thai and grilled octupus are delicious, but the Continental can definitely be counted on for a good time! It has a wide variety of foods, both American and ethnic, which makes it a great place to go with friends! They also do a great brunch!
